All of his suggested materials help to make the painting process easier, giving you a headstart before you even begin painting.

Understanding Color and Light: Marcos talks in detail about color theory, explaining primary, secondary, and complementary colors. He explains how to effectievly use the color wheel inorder to create harmonious color schemes, and emphasizes the importance of understanding light sources to create depth and dimension in your paintings.

Layering Logic in Watercolor: Marcos introduces his approach to layering in watercolor painting, which he terms as 'Tea, Milk, and Honey'. This approach helps you to easily remember and understand the varying consistencies of paint and water mixtures used in different stages of the painting process, from light washes (tea) to more concentrated pigments (honey).

Practical Demonstrations: Throughout the workshop, Marcos demonstrates practical examples, including graphite,  monochromatic and full color watercolor studies. He encourages embracing mistakes as part of the learning process.
