Just watching this course is a treat. The videos for the class content use split screens so we can see the work as the instructor paints, the palette as it's being used, and the primary source photo. The audio is clear. Very professional. Mr Einarsson is personable in his presentation and the information he provides has been helpful for me, especially the pre-painting content on composition and design. And as soon as I saw that he was self-taught and that Richard Schmid was an artist/teacher he admires, I was hooked. I highly recommend this class for artists, even those who are not landscape painters. There is enough information from finding an interesting subject to varnishing the finished work for anyone who is looking for a course about color, value, and technique.

The joyful but relaxed narrative and demonstration in this course really helped me on my own journey as a painter. It inspired me in the way that by putting joy and passion into this craft you can explore your own creative ways.

I truly enjoyed watching Thor’s process from start to finish. I admire his artwork very much and always wondered about the thought process behind it. The video is very well put together, lots of information, not too short or too long. I’m so glad I purchased it. Thank you!

I liked this Course very much. Thorgrimur talkes about blending colors, values and tones. Encourages to paint loosely and teaches pallet knife technique. He encourages us to practice and practice and to be brave to add our own little personal touch to our paintings. Enjoyed the video and painting, especially how it was broken down into shorter sections. Learned a few new things and especially enjoyed the greens you were able to mix using Viridian.

I love this workshop, Thorgrimur is a great artist. I've been following him for a while and really loved seeing how he paints. I'm going to watch it again when I have time, a lot to learn!

This workshop is really well put together. Thorgrimur is a talented teacher who is able to break down complex techniques in a way that is easy to understand. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to improve their painting skills, I particularly enjoyed his use of the palette knife to adjust the texture and shapes, and his demonstration using software to come up with the composition and color.

I thought this online course was fantastic. I am quite new to oil painting, and have been looking for a step by step workshop like this which explains the whole process carefully. Thank you Thor for your detailed explanation.
